Nottingham’s Victoria Stores opens as a retail and grocery store supplying tea, coffee, cocoa, fruits, spices, chocolate, biscuits and many other provisions.

Armitage Brothers moves to Colwick Industrial Estate, Nottingham - which is still the site of Armitage's Head Office today.
